Isaac Construction were originally awarded a $340k roading and stormwater package, which included Evergreen Place, Bancroft Place, Arosa Place, Parkwood Place and Hurst Place. Due to the relationship we built and the high quality of work produced, it lead to Isaac Construction becoming Fletcher Construction’s preferred contractor, turning this contract into $3.97M and being awarded the North New Brighton Contract at $2.14M. Throughout the project we maintained a very high level of quality which was acknowledged by the CCC upon handing over the streets. This contract was to repair the earthquake damaged roading and stormwater network for the North New Brighton and Parklands East catchment. Isaac Construction was awarded with 14 concurrent road packages under the same contract.
All work was completed in accordance to CCC CSS that included: cut to waste, kerb and channel replacement, AP65 subbase, M4 AP40 basecourse, insitu cement stabilisation of existing basecourse, scarify and reshaping of carriageways with M4/AP40, adjustment of service lids, Grade 2/4 Chipseal, AC10 at 30mm, AC16 at 50mm, milling existing surface 50-130mm, concrete encased 225mm reinforced concrete pipe for stormwater, new sumps & manholes, footpaths/residential/commercial crossings, grassed berms, landscaping and reinstatement of all line marking and signs.
